A DUI stop only takes a couple of minutes, but it can affect the rest of your life. Luckily, there are many things an attorney can do to alleviate the severity of DWI charges. The constitutionality of the traffic stop and the reliability of breathalyzer procedures used to obtain probable cause for a DUI arrest are two very fertile areas of defense in DUI cases.
