DUI Municipal Process
When an individual is arrested for DWI, DUI, or breathalyzer refusal, he will receive a Complaint setting out the charges against him. Subsequently the defendant will be required to appear in court at the arraignment and enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. The Jersey City Municipal Court is located on 365 Summit Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306. The court is in session Monday thru Thursday at 9:00am, 1:00pm, and 5:00pm, and on Fridays at 9:00am and 1:00pm. Municipal court officials include Chief Judge Nesle A. Rodriguez, Chief Municipal Prosecutor Armando J. Molina, and Court Administrator Brenda Herbert.
